THE DEVELOPMENT OF CRIME IN STEREO’S ‘EVERYTHING CHANGES NOTHING IS EVER TRULY LOST’ DVD ARTWORK.

So as you may or may not be aware in our spare time we’ve been working on the Crime In Stereo DVD. Updates have been sparse because we prefer to give you guys larger updates than bits here and there. So this update focus’ on the deluxe DVD’s artwork and our current position as we develop it.

We are using photography from the final show in New Jersey, and we’ve had a lot of amazing submissions; all which captured the essence of Crime In Stereo as a band, and as a world renowned live act.

We really enjoyed the energy and interaction of this photo by Meghan McInnis so we decided to use this as largely as a starting point for what is now transpiring within the design team. Thank you to everyone that submitted, you’re not out of the picture yet so bare with us as we build this. Above is a reference (two photos, the original and the artwork) to what’s brewing and is by no means finished yet, however we are aware that people are curious to what’s going on and when things are being released. We’re working as hard and as fast as we can to do this, while holding down our paid creative work to keep the wolf from the door (so to speak).

After we’ve completed the artwork we’ll be show casing a more detailed look at it and how things will be laid out in the final product which will be available to fans at a COST PRICE. This means all fees go into the production of the DVD. The only way to buy a copy will be by pre-ordering via paypal, however this isn’t 100% confirmed yet. We’re thinking of choosing paypal, largely because, it’s protected and your money is then safe. People can order with peace of mind rather than worry ‘where is my money going’. We endeavour to make this project as safe for everyone as possible. We want a vibe that everyone is contributing largely to what we’re doing (which is what’s happening).

The price of the DVD’s has yet to be worked out but we will be listing ALL costs so you can see where your money is going and how that this is 100% a non profit project. All other aspects of the DVD will be discussed in an update which is due in about 2 weeks. Also we’re considering doing video walk throughs of the DVD so everyone can see what product is going out before we release the free versions to the world, along with the deluxe versions to a select few. How many deluxe versions are printed depends entirely on how many people pledge.

I just want to take this time to thank the people putting the artwork together. There has been a high level of dedication to the project and it’s touching to see. More information is to follow but please check out the links below to learn more about these modern day heroes. If you like what’s above then you’re going to love the finished article!
